A day that changed everything.  It made Americans great in the light of the worst terrorist act ever.  It put fear into all of us.  What we didn't see is that ten years later we are a whole lot less free than we were then.  Some may argue that the giving up of our liberties to appear as though Big Brother will take care of us is a good thing.  I will argue that since that day our beloved leaders have taken away some of our basic liberties.  We have become more dependant than ever before in the history of our great nation.  We have given the government so much power that everything we used to take for granted is regulated to the point of stagnation.  It has become a bad thing to profit in America, and those that do are being forced to even the playing field by paying even higher taxes and pay for others medical insurance.  This run away government is what our founding fathers ran from when coming to the New Word.  This notion it is for our own good is simply crazy, the few industrious folks who start and run new companies are viewed as tyrants by our government.  100 years ago it was praised to start a new company or industry with fresh thinking and new ideas, if you try it today you will be taxed on the income you made to get to the point you can start a company, you will be taxed on all the products you buy to start your company, you will have to pay insurance for all your employees, you will have to pay the highest prevailing wages in the world, you need to pay for a business license, pay to incorporated to the government, pay a higher corporate income tax rate if you make over 15k a year, then you are taxed annually on the property or assets you use such as desks computers ect., if you own the property your business is on you pay property taxes, unemployment insurance for all your employees for both state and federal.  All these taxes so we can pay for 484 Federal Agencies and 378 State agencies if you live in California.  Thats right such Agencies as; Agency for International development, Bonneville Power Adimistration, Bureau of Public Debt, Foreign Agiculture Service, Government Ethics (REALLY!), Joint Fire Science Program, Mediation and Concitiation Service, Office of, Office of Refugee Resettlement, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Voice of America (VOA), to name a few prominent Agencies our tax dollars go to.

Anyway sound off and let me know your thoughts.
